Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Pain In The Knee

Hello, I was playing a soccer game last Thursday, and I hit my knee a few times and experienced pain for the rest of that day and the next day. As it was getting better, I hurt my knee again and once that started healing I hurt it once more. Now, my knee hurts a lot. It is pretty swollen, It hurts all around the knee cap and hurts when I touch it like a bruise, although there is no blue, red or purple. It hurts on the knee cap as well when I touch it and it hurts when I bend my knee and walk. Should I see a doctor or just rest it off? How do I know at what point I need to seek help and what could be the injury that I sustained?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, knee joint is very fragile unit and highly vulnerable to injury and disease, here as long as your history is concern, it is better to get done the MRI or at least x-ray of knee joint and it need to be managed accordingly, meniscus is the matter of concern, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
