Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain

My husband came home from work today complaining of stomach pain, he is a mechanic and does heavy lifting sometimes. I m concerned about a hernia but he is also running a temperature. When I push on his stomache he flinches on his lower/mid abdomen area. Should he go to the dr sooner than later

Fever with hernia is unlikely,

Other causes like apendicities,gastrities,renal calculi is a possibility,
Detailed examination is nessasary,
Visit a surgeon or physician and get your symptoms evaluated,
