Suggest Treatment For Spondylitis And Under-active Thyroid

Hello, I am 77 yr old lady and really fed up with myself. Firstly I have to say that I have a twisted spine and can t walk very well. I think it s Spondylitis. I have a Pace Maker. But my real problem is that when I go out I sweat profusely, which makes me feel sickly. My clothes down to my undies are soaked and I have to change as soon as I get home. I have underactive thyroid. Just had lots of blood tests and all come back OK. I hate going out for this reason and yet love to be with people and don t feel afraid (only in London !!! ) But I am in groups and enjoy until it s time to walk home !

Hello,

Which part of the spine is involved? You may be suffering from hypothyroidism with age-related or hypothyroidism associated spondylosis.

Use cervical or lumbar collor support. Use painkiller medication if necessary.

Use levothyroxine tablets according to TSH. Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
