Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat
I have a really sore throat with a yellow line on the back of it. I have very little puss buckets on tonsils but a thick yellow line on the way back of throat. Behind tonsils. I also feel like I have a fever. I feel very cold and my head feels very warm

Thank you for your question, I am Dr Asanghanwa Carlson. You are suffering from a condition called Pharyngitis which is a throat infection and probably due to a bacterial infection. It causes the throat to be inflammed, painful, with pus on it and other systemic signs like fever, headache and generalised body pains. I would advise you go for: regular mouth washes with warm salted water or Hextril solution four times daily; Amoxicilline and clavulanic acid 1g tablets thrice daily for 10 days; Paracetamol 1g tablets thrice daily for five days as long as you have a fever and drink lots of fluids.
