Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat And Swollen Glands
I have had a sore throat for over a month (I caught it from my grand babies) but they are all better I ve gotten worse. Now I have Swollen glands & coughing up yellow mucus. I had surgery about 2 weeks ago that s when it got worse. My doctor gave me a Z pack but it hasn t done anything

Zealand pack is not that effective for throat infection.
If I were your treating doctor, I would have prescribed penicillin antibiotics + anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol + diclofenac combination drugs twice daily for 3 to 5 days. Steam inhalation daily twice may be helpful. Avoid oily and cold items. Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
