Suggest Treatment For Small Red Bumps All Over The Body

I am 22 years old and I have been getting red bumps in random places. Some are small and some are the size of nickels. I thought it would be bed bugs but my wife doesn t have any bumps. Do you think it is an allergy problem? Is there any cream I can use.

Hi... according to the description it looks like a condition called papular urticaria in which small red papules appear on the skin mostly over exposed areas of body like extremities or face but can also occur over trunk area. This condition starts with mosquito bite or can be due to bed bug also, lesions are extremely itchy in nature for a day or two leaving small spots after that.

Treatment involves application of calamine lotion over the areas affected twice daily and topical steroid like mometasone over the red lesions once a day for a few days. Also take tab levocetrizine 5 mg at bed time for a week.

Hope this post is helpful to you...
Thanks..
