Suggest Treatment For Skin Rashes & Skin Irritation

My mother is 60 yrs old. she had a brain tumor(Calcified) operation on May 21st 2001. She had a case of Convexity meningioma which was totally removed. She developed Trigiminal Neuralgia on her let side of face in 2005. She was given treatment of Mazetol 200( 1 x 3 dose)till Nov 2007. She was releived of the pain after the medication of Mazetol. But she developed skin rashes and skin irritation due to which it was discontinued after nov 2007. She did not complain of the neuralgia till Jan 2011. But since Feb 20111 she is again suffering from the same Neualgia pain. She was again given Tegritol but she instantly started reacting and developed skin rashes. Please suggest what alternatives can be given to her for treatment. Also she develops suicidal behaviour after takin Carbamezepine.
