Suggest Treatment For Sinus Infection

my dr. gave me cipro 500 a very bad sinus infection and I have been taking it with milk every morning and evening I did not know until now why its not working I have 4 days left of medicine and seeing how im no better than I was will I need another 5 days filled in order to get better or what should I do ?

For sinus infections antibiotics are prescribed first like your doctor prescribed cipro.For my patients i advise antibiotics and nasal decongesants as nasal drops or tablets.You can take a steam inhalation also for relief.But if no improvement then you have to approach your ENT specialist.For such cases a Paranasal sinus X ray is advised.A sinus puncture and drainage might be required in some cases.Hope this may help you.
