Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In The Back And Fever
Yes I had eaten something two nights sho and it felt stuck like a pill in my esophagus and thought th Discomfort would ho away but but the pain has convening my upper back z nd now middle bAck I have tried drinking z nd eating breads and s o ft foods thinking it would help move s h s fever through, but I am experiencing so much pain while eating s nd drinking- - What are your thoughts as to what this could be? Planning to go see a doctor tomorrow. What tests should I have them run?

Pain while swallowing solid or liquid is something needs medical attention. This can be related to esophageal disorder. To know for sure I would advice you to see a gastroenterologist as he is the best to guide you on this further. The pain in the back might be because of issue related to esophagus which is radiating to back. For that proper physical examination must be done. The fever is likely related to the issue that's causing pain on intake of solids and liquids as inflammation of mucosa might be present.
The symptoms you have mentioned are commonly seen in esophageal strictures( narrowing of esophagus) Sometimes it is related to esophageal motility. A gastroenterologist will take all history to see if you had any surgery previously as well as he will advise you to get few diagnostic tests done like barium swallow and maybe endoscopy to find out exact cause behind your issue.
