Suggest Treatment For Severe Nerve Damage And Glaucoma

Hi, I went to the eye doctor yesterday. I found out that I have 90% optical nerve damage from Glaucoma that I have had since about 12. I am now on an aggressive plan to preserve my vision. My doctor has given me some drops for this. My pressure yesterday was at 27, he wanted it to get down in the teens. But my question to you is: How long of a time-frame can someone like myself see with only 10% optic nerves left? Months? Years? Anything?

Hello,

Long term glaucoma can lead to damage to optic nerve.
However, glaucoma can be managed by surgical intervention.
I suggest you to consult your ophthalmologist for clinical assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
