Suggest treatment for severe neck pain

Since Saturday, Feb 7, 2015, I have been having some neck pains. If I slightly tilt my head to the left it pains and to the right also. I sometimes feel the pain in my jaw. I am using a mouth guard at night. The pain travels from my left shoulder, my left back bone, under arm pits, to the side of my left breast, back also and knee caps.

Not sure what is going on. I work in front of a computer all day.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi
Welcome to healthcaremagic
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. There are two possibilities. One is that your pain can be related to your posture due to continuous working in front of computer for hours. Treatment of it is neck excercises and avoiding long sitting on computer. For symptomatic relief you can take analgesic such as ibuprofen. Second possibility is deficiency of vitamins and trace elements. You can take analgesic and trace elements and multivitamins supplements. You can get your vitamin D level as its deficiency is important cause of such pains,if found low you can takesupplements of vitamin D3.You can discuss with your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you.
Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
