Hello,

You seem to have Telogen Effluvium. A systemic illness like tuberculosis is a common cause of increased hair shedding due to shifting in hair growth cycle from growing phase(anagen) to shedding phase (telogen).

Appropriate treatment with anti-tuberculosis medications would help by restoring this shift as tuberculosis resolves. I suggest you to also take an oral biotin supplement e.g tab Revilus for a few months.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Kakkar S., Dermatologist
