Suggest Treatment For Severe Ear Congestion, Headache And Dizziness

My ears are extremely plugged. They feel like I am under water. It is causing a headache and I am very dizzy. I have taken sinus medication and it is not helping. This is the third day of this. Should I go see my doctor or try some other over the counter medication?

Hello,

You can use antihistamines such as Benadryl or Cetirizine for congestion. Use decongestants such pseudoephedrine for phenylephrine for congestion.

Also can use anti-inflammatory drugs such as Advil. If you don't get better in a week but fever rises you can go to the doctor and probably antibiotics can be used.

You have to wait for three more days since you are too early for the effects of treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
