Suggest Treatment For Sever Fever In A Child
my son is two and half year old. he is having fever since two days with coughing. after giving paracetamol i.e. P125 syrup the fever was not coming down. The doc advised me Meftal p syrup n levolin syrup along with Atarex drops. please suggest what is the purpose of Atarex?

Hi,
Atarax is an anti-allergic drug. It is used for the irritation of the throat or lungs in such cases. For your kid probably this is advised for a cough which may be allergic in nature. Paracetamol and metal are for control of fever.
