Suggest Treatment For Scratchy Dry Throat

I have a scratchy throat. It's not sore though, It just feels like it's dry and only tea or liquids help the scratchy feeling for a little while.. I get waves of feeling neaseaus like I'm about to vomit. I have waves of a stuffy and runny nose as well.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Scratchy feeling if its recently started along with runny nose then it can be due to upper respiratory infection. Taking steam inhalation will be helpful. You can also take warm chicken soup and tea with lemon. For runny nose antihistamines like chlorpheniramine and nasal decongesants like phenylephrine will be helpful. If worsening or no relief then antibiotics might be needed. Scratchy throat if it is present for a long time then it can be due to gastric acid reflux and in such case a short course of proton pump inhibitor like esomeprazole and motility agent like domperidone will help.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
