Suggest Treatment For Scalp Hematoma In 3 Month Old

hi doctor my baby is 3months old and she got bump in back of head.we took her to ER doctor took CT scan and diagnosed it as Scalp Hematoma.Dr. told it resolves by 3 weeksIts been 2weeks we went to E,.But the size of it is varying.its increasing and decreasing..What should we do?

Hi, welcome to HCM.
Since, CT scan has already been done and only scalp hematoma is reported, there is no need to worry.
A scalp hematoma may take 3 to 4 weeks to settle down.
CT scan report rules out internal injury so we don't have to worry about this.
