I have been having a troubling skin condition that has been diagnosed as scabies. I have been prescribed Permethrin 5% twice, which helped temporarily, but the symptoms always return afterwards. I have small white and red worm like objects all over me. They are particularly bad in vagina, on nipples, hands, feet, butt, back, ears, lips, and nose. I can feel them moving at times, but I m hopeful that things have improved bc I feel them less often now. They cause a crawling, itchy sensation at night that keeps me awake. There have also been random swollen areas on me which seem to be disappearing. There was one on my left earlobe, above my eye, on my neck, and under my toe. My vagina also had a blue/grey color on the left side which has slowly disappeared. After the permethrin my skin seems to be shedding in white pieces. Every time I use the bathroom more and more come off. I m just worried this may not be scabies because the symptoms still remain and the small white threads seem to keep coming off and I want it to stop. Not sure it whatever it is is dying, or growing. I have also been taking vitamins, using Black African soap when showering, and using dicatemous earth on skin. This condition has also caused several open sores on my skin and also swollen pimple like eruptions along my hairline. Thanks for any help-I m just hoping someone can figure out this mystery.
