Suggest Treatment For Red Rashes On The Body

I have a rash that appears to be caused by contact because of location. The skin is solid red where the band of my bra was and otherwise there are little patches of red rash. No headache or fever. But the rash and red splotches are quite itchy. Over the past few days, they have increased in size. What is this and what do I do about it?i am in my 70s and married and I avoid poison ivy. Thanks!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
,
I think this can be related to any allergies. You can spot any lotions or other things that you have been using recently or changed recently which can be caused the itching rash. I think you should take antihistamines to relieve itching and if it doesn't go away you can do a cortico-steroid injection.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
