Suggest Treatment For Recurring Pain In Throat And Around Eyes
My mother has a reoccurring pain in her throat and across her eyes, apparently when she bends down she also gets throat pain. She has seen a G.P here in England and has been told it is probably a migraine (which she does suffer from ) she has taken both paracetamol and migraleve but neither seem to alleviate her symptoms. I would be grateful if you could offer any suggestions?

My dear friend, your G.P is right that it can be a migraine (If he done all investigation to rule others disorders like complete blood count, X Ray -neck,).
Do not worry,your mother will be fine soon.
If he did not suggested these test then i will advise you to do first these investigation.
Migraine headache can be exaggerated by other factors as loud sound, Light ,less sleeping in night or disturbance in routine sleeping.
You should also ask these from your mother.
Migraine headache usually decreased after proper sleeping or after sedation.
Help your mother for stress free life by yoga and meditation because these will decrease episodes of headache (either tension headache or migraine).
