Hi..

Recurring itchy hives with small red itchy bumps can be due to cause like:-
-Allergic reaction to any food or medication.
-Toxic bug bites.
-Poison ivy.
-Allergy to any detergent, soap, skin cosmetic etc..
- Mite infestation or Scabies..

For appropriate treatment a clinical examination and investigations like blood test is a must..
Consult an Allergist and get evaluated..

In case of allergy a steroid shot and oral antihistamines will help in relieving the symptoms ..
Do cool compresses over the bumps or take a cold water bath and apply calamine lotion..

For scabies oral medication like Ivermectin and topical Premetherin lotion is to be applied..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
