Suggest Treatment For Rashes Leaking Fluid All Over The Body

My husband has a rash that is taking over his body. We thought it might be shingles. Apparently it is not. We saw 2 separate doctors yesterday. Neither have any idea what it could be. He has it all over however his legs fom the knees down are an absolute mess and have been weeping some type of liquid. One of the doctors yesterday put him in streoids and antibiotics and told us to see a dermatologist asap. So far the soonest appointment we can get is in April. I can send pictures... Thanks. Nancy

It sounds to me like an eczema although I would need to see pictures or even examine in person to give a better answer. What you could do at home is to immerse the legs in warm saline water. Use water which is just warm to touch and add around 5 tablespoon fulls of salt to one bucket of water. Immerse the leg for 20 minutes. Repeat this 2 to 3 times a day. Apply the antibiotic and steroid ointments after doing this procedure. Take care. Hope this was of good help to you.
