Suggest Treatment For Rash On Burning Lips After Veet Hair Removal Usage
hi i applied veet hair removal cream and accidentaly applied some towards the lip and the small bits i washed it with luke wam water immidiatey. however i have developed a red rash there which is burning slightly ..... what can i do to prevent it ? what should i apply to soothe rash ? could this develop into a uti? its only been 2 hours since the incident . please advise i am really scared as the last time i got a uti it was very painful!!!
If I was the treating doctor I would suggest you to use a topical moderately potent steroid cream e.g fluticasone propionate (Flutivate cream), twice daily for a few days. That should take care of the redness and burning sensation.
An OTC antihistamine e.g cetrizine 10mg once daily would help in providing symptomatic relief from burning and itching.
