Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. You have suffered a lot of traumas in life which got repeated again and again and this caused a significant blow to your personal life. This is really very bad but you should try to come out of it. Due to repeated traumas and helplessness most likely you have developed depressive symptoms and these symptoms are hampering your day to day functioning. Don't feel devastated and just remember one thing that everything heals with time. Please try to find new ways of interest in your life. Visit a psychiatrist for help and evaluation. Medicines like SSRIs are very good antidepressants and result in significant improvement in mood. Cognitive therapy by a trained psychologist can also help you in coming out of that bad phase of life.

Please don't blame yourself for any thing, just take one step to visit a psychiatrist and you will come out of all that mess.

Thanks, I hope this helps you. Take care

hello my Dear Linda,
You can very well be upgraded from disability but after a certain period of observation by your treating doctor, when he get the confidence of your recovery and stable routine behaviour,he may upgrade you and you can join the work.
Meanwhile i would suggest you to take regular medications as prescribed and follow a healthy routine, spend quality time with family, have balanced diet and do regular exercise, yoga and medidation.
You should attend behavior therapy and counselling sessions with your Doctor.
Have confidence and strong will power, you and only you can do it.
All the best and wish you a healthy life ahead.
Thanks for your query
