Suggest Treatment For Persistent Nosebleeds Caused By Sinusitis
Have started to have nosebleeds out of left nostril went to med express on Friday and told me it was acute sinutitis.put me on predisone and antibiotics.today I had three very heavy .nosebleeds. Im a little dizzy and have been for weeks with a vague headache but no pressure or stuffiness in my face or nose. can this be sinutitis or should I be concerned of maybe something else? .
Yes, nose bleeds & headache's can occur due to sinusitis, continue to take the medications prescribed. Nosebleeds also occur due to deviated nasal septum, allergic rhinitis, atherosclerosis, use of medications like Aspirin, bleeding disorders and hypertension.
Get cholesterol screening test, Urine test, ECG be done. Get examined & evaluated of the type of hypertension you may have. NO worries, hypertension can be treated with Beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers, diuretics, etc. Switch on to a healthy life style with a healthy diet plan. Get rid of addictions if any, do regular exercises.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Nupur K,
