General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since your discomfort is getting worse you should stop taking the Livomyn tabs as these tabs do trigger abdominal discomfort, nausea, gastritis, diarrhea & vomiting.

Treatment of persistent gastritis is taking antacids, PPI's or H2 blockers. However, you are recommended to get stool test, CBC, endoscopy, USG if required to get evaluated for the factors (IBS, GERD, weak immune system, alcohol consumption) causing persistent gastritis.

Avoid spicy, oily food, keep yourself well hydrated, take fiber in your diet, stay away from food that triggers constipation like lactose, red meat & food to which you have an allergy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K,
