hi my wife is suffering with fever, and we went to consult doctor. Doctor suggested some blood investigations. we have gone through all blood tests. in blood tests she got Typhi IgM : positive, Total Bilirubin : 1.5 mg/dl and Malaria rapid test : negative and doctor had started antibiotics ( O2,Taxim & meftal) for 3 weeks. after completion of 2 weeks her fever was not controlled and we decide to go another physician which he told us to stop the previous tablets and take another medicine.(sumo spas,Lumerax,Udiliv 300,Baloforce,Malirid-ds,esoga-rd ) and my doubt is weather we have start the medicine or not .

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have persistent fever which seems to be due to viral infection which is lowering down your immunity and making you prone for infection. I would suggest you to apply wet cold sheets on your head to lower down body temperature. Take nimuslide along with paracetamol as well.Take diet rich in multivitamins and vitamin C. Your symptoms will resolve in 4-5 days. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist once and get some routine blood investigation done again. Take diet rich in multivitamins. Drink plenty of water. Take hot milk rich in turmeric as it will booster immunity. Avoid hot, spicy and sharp food substances. You should take combination of antiviral drug along with anti-inflammatory drug

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
