I WAKE UP AT ABOUT TWO O'CLOCK NEARLY EVERY MORNING SNEEZING ABOUT FOUR OR FIVE TIMES.MY NOSE IS ALWAYS CONSTANTLY BLOCKED. I HAVE BEEN TO MY GP WHO PRESCRIBED SOME NASAL DROPS AND ANTIBIOTICS, BUT THESE HAVE NOT WORKED. I HAVE HAD THIS CONGESTION ON AND OFF FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS AND IT IS REALLY GETTING ME DOWN. I AM 19 YEARS OLD.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your query the symptoms are pointing towards Chronic Sinusitis leading to blocked nose and congestion..
Sneezing can be due to allergic reaction to dust or something else that seems to be present in the room in which you sleep.
It can also be due to irritation and dryness in nasal lining..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist or an Allergist and get evaluated and he/she can advise you to get an allergic testing done as well as PNS view x ray and MRI SCAN of the maxillary sinuses for ruling out the exact cause of your symptoms..
In case of allergic reaction ruling out the exact allergens and preventing exposure to it will relieve sneezing..
If allergies are ruled out Immunotherapy can be given to reduce the allergic symptoms..
If Sinusitis is ruled out Antibiotics, anti inflammatory medicines, decongestants, saline irrigation, Steroid nasal spray and steam inhalation can help..
If there is polyp in the sinus it can be removed surgically..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
