Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

What need to be done is that we do an ultrasound to rule out any cause for the persistent infection like stone etc so that can be corrected , and we do a urine culture and sensitivity to know the bug and the antibiotics working for it . Once this is found out then we hit the bug with same antibiotics , yes some times we need to take antibiotics for long time even for years. Unfortunately this would need consulting a doctor , I can understand the difficult time you have but I would encourage not to give up.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
