Suggest Treatment For Painful Bumps On The Eyelid
Hi I have a bump on both of my eyelids. They are growing bigger but aren t itchy or red. They are right along the upper corner of each eyelid and they are more flesh colored so that I wasn t even aware they were there. A friend saw them. They don t feel hard but are getting larger. Any ideas on what they could be or who should I go to for help would be appreciated. Denise YYYY@YYYY

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have painful bumps on the eyelid . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like eye allergies , conjunctivitis , styes , chalazion or injuries. I would suggest you to wash your eyes with cold water several times a day , put corticosteroid eye drops in your eyes and take over the counter anti histamine like benadryl twice a day .Doctor apply any cosmetic product on face as it may cause allergic reaction. If condition doesn't get better then consult ophthalmologist for proper diagnosis and treatment . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants along with anti inflammatory and antibiotics . Do not apply any cosmetic product on face and put methyl cellulose eye drops in eye to prevent dryness .
