Suggest Treatment For Pain On The Tendon Next To The Shin

Yes I have been having bad pain in the tendon next to the left shin bone for about 5 years. I went through physical therapy and everything else. I finally got an MRI and there is a cist in the anterior tibulis. My doctor told me to ice it and in a few weeks if it doesnt get better he would set me up with a surgeon. What do you think

There is nothing much to worry and there is only some soft tissue involvement. You can apply icepacks for faster recovery. No vigorous treatment is required.
