Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Right Thigh

I have had a pain in my right thigh since 4/3/2016. Some time the pain goes up into my lower back and right testicle. I run and play soccer with my U10 team. I experience this pain the most in a standing position, like going to the bath room standing up. Some times just changing my back position and the pain will go away. When I lay down, after a few minutes the pain will go away. It feels like a pinched nerve and in a certian position it just aches.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

In most cases, thigh pain can be treated with home remedies such as: Application of ice, heat, over-the-counter medications such as acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil) and other NSAIDs, weight management, physiotherapy and moderating activity and stretching and strengthening exercises for the pelvis, hip, and core.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ajeet Singh, General & Family Physician
