Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Legs While Having Owren S Disease

Hi I ve just recently been diagnosed with factor 5 ( blood clots ) 3 weeks ago and was supposed to go back to get an ultrasound on my leg. I didn t go back. I haven t been put on anything due to not going back and I ve suffered bruising as they come and go but getting a little worse each day. From 11 this morning I ve been in extreme pain with my leg I can t eat or drink. Feeling really dizzy. Is it serious enough for me to head up to the hospital or do I take asprin or Panadol ?

Hello,

I think you should make an appointment with your doctor to evaluate your condition. Do not take aspirin because of worse the bleeding. For moderate pain, you can use paracetamol.

Factor V deficiency is relatively manageable compared to other bleeding disorders but you have to do the examinations required by your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
