Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Fractured Toe

i broke my pinkie toe from the left foot 2 weeks ago tomorrow. X-Ray shows the fracture when I saw my doctor he said to keep it elevated and just give it time to heal no bigger issue however today going up the stairs I lost my balance and I put pressure on my feet trying not to fall. I didn t fall however I am guessing due to the pressure I put on my feet and my toe I am in pain. This incident happened around 7:30 am is now 8:30 and I feel my toe warmer than usual and kind of numb. Can you please guide me?

Hello,

Fracture left little toe without any displacement needs rest for the fracture to heal-up. Further trauma only delays the process. You can apply a cold compress to reduce the inflammation and some pain killer like paracetamol 1-2 tablet for symptomatic relief, as needed basis.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
