Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Clitoris

I have been having a pain in my clitorus for a few days now. Recently I have noticed that I have what seems to look like a canker sore, blister, or a cyst right next to my clitorus. It seems like as the days go by the pain gets a little more painful and I notice it worsen. I also have been having a yeast infection on and off for years now. I currently do have it at the moment and am making the necessary precautions to get rid of it. I also have the Paragard. With the paragard I do have side effects like spotting, longer and heavy menstrual cycles, pain during sex, stronger cramps, etc. I would just like to know what this blister is, what I can do to get rid of it, and if the yeast infection or the paragard can be a cause to this? Please and thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I don't believe that ParaGuard may be causing it. I think it can be Bartholin cyst. You may do warm baths to help it open up and drain or drain it at the gynecologist office.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
