Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a pain in my chest, doesn t fee like my heart, it started two days go. Initially it felt like I slept wrong and somewhere inside the left side of my chest just bruised as a result. But last night it was like a sharp pain to even sleep on. A little confused! Thanks. I should note that I go to the gym 5 days a week and lift heavy but have had no problems with that whatsoever.

Nitroglycerin — usually taken as a tablet under the tongue — relaxes heart arteries, so blood can flow more easily through the narrowed spaces.
Some blood pressure medicines also relax and widen blood vessels. Aspirin. If doctors suspect that your chest pain is related to your heart, you'll likely be given Aspirin.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care

Dr Monish De, Oncologist
