Hi, I ve been taken simivastin for past 7 years. I m starting to have problems in my knees and calf area also in area where thigh and upper body join. the pain is so intense that I can t move and get up. I know some of the problems I have in knees is from arthirtis.
Simvastatin can cause knee and calf pain as it causes muscle weakness . Also for knee arthritis take calcium and vitamin D3. Avoid squatting and sitting cross leg. Avoid weight gain. Also take methylcobal and carnisure for muscle strengthening.
