General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Black stools are commonly related to a hemorrhagic in the stomach. If the symptoms continue, you should see a gastrologist for further evaluation. To confirm the diagnosis an endoscopy should be done. Meanwhile, I suggest to continue the medications that you are using which is the right treatment.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
