Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling In Leg After An Injury

i was hit in the shine area with a baseball line drive 8 days ago. i went for xrays and nothing is broken but my whole lower leg is serverly bruised and a large hard lump where the ball hit. I have been doing the RICE theory but i am still in a lot of pain and have a burning sensation in the lump? any further suggestion

Hi , Welcome to healthcare magic .You can take analgesics antiinflammatory (Diclofenac+Paracetamol)for a week or so .It is advisable to rest and keep leg elevated on pillow.This can be supplemented by vitamin be-complex+C to promote healing.If you have fever than antibiotics can be added.I think your answer has been answered.
