Suggest Treatment For Numbness On The Face With Headache

Hi three days ago my left side of face started to get numb and it took one day almost. after few hours from start of numbness I started to feel a very bad headache which has been with me for last 5 days. The initial diagnosis of doctor was Classic Migraine. But if so I should have got rid of the headache by now. In addition to pain I have feeling of tingling on my front part of head and a bit numbness in my left temple (where the numbness started 5 days ago). Is there any explanation for this?

Hi.

I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.

Your history of headache, numbness, tingling sensation on one side of face might be due to classic migraine / Sinus headache /cluster headaches or any other too.

I advice you to,
- Take Triptans as subcutaneous injections 4mg
- Analgesics like Ibuprofen + Triptans
- avoid factors that triggers your headache like noise, light, food items etc
-YOGA
- Neck massage & exercises
- Eye examination by ophthalmologist & also Sinus assessment by ENT specialist
