Suggest Treatment For Numbness And Tingling Sensation In Left Leg

One night in April of 2007 I took a hot bath and walk to my room to read a book. Once I took a step, my right foot felt like it collapse and I could not move it of the ground or take a step. I hopped on my left foot to my bedroom to set on the bed, but when I lift and bend my right leg I could not straighten it. It was completely stuck. After a few tries my leg finally stretched. My right side begins to move out of my control (like a popping motion), it begin in my right leg to my right arm, while my left side remain normal. I could not stop my right side from moving uncontrollably. I called my husband and he came and held my right side down. After that my body became normal again. I went to emergency that night and they could not find anything in my blood or in the CAT scan. I was sent the following week to do an MRI. The doctors found something in my brain that made them think MS could be a possibility. I met with a neurologist and he gave me a physical but said by my physical he could not see any sighs of MS or anything else. So he wanted to test the liquid in my spinal cord, but I was too afraid to do that. So it was never confirmed if MS is the issue. I do not have any problem after that visit. Nothing! In April of last year, I started on a great diet and exercise program. I was not using the proper shoes when jogging. I say that because I thought that was the reason for the problem. After a month I started to feel numbness in in my feet (mainly the left foot) and it begin affecting my left leg, and hand. My thumb and index finger was really numb at the time. It became a little difficult to type at work. I visited a doctor and he told me that it could be nerve damage due to exercising and wearing the wrong shoes. After that meeting the numbness in my foot and leg had lighten, but I still felt it in my left arm, shoulders, and hand. A few days ago, I woke up and my left arm felt so numb and empty. It felt so uncomfortable; it was a very strong tingling, numbing, empty felling. After I moved it around and started exercising my arm, the feeling subsided. The other day, I was hanging with my friends and we turn on music and started dancing and enjoying ourselves. The numbness and tingling starting again, but it was worst then before. Today I was playing with my son. I lifted him up and started swinging him around a little. It started again. This time it was almost unbearable. What could this be? I am 36 years old, married with three children. Could this be stress? It is a little difficult for me to see the doctor, because I do not have medical insurance. What should I do? I am currently on my menstrual period, and I recall having a problems with low blood in the past, could it be that I need more Iron? Are does it sound more serious than that?
