Suggest Treatment For Numbness And Pain In The Arm

Hey! I am a female and 21 years old. I had a pea size lump appear on my right arm about two weeks ago and over the next few days it began to bruise very severely. The bruise is strange because it is only bruised AROUND where the lump was. The lump is on my upper bicep area and it very very sensitive to touch. I got an ultrasound on it and they did not give me any answers. I m starting to freak out because it sends numbness and pain down my arm when I move it wrong. Please let me know if you ve even heard of anything like this. Thanks in advance -and I have pictures of the ultrasound and the bruise if that would be helpful. Lmk

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

We have to rule out possible causes like peripheral neuropathy. As a first line management you can take drugs like vitamin B12 for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persists you can consult a neurologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
