Suggest Treatment For Nausea Post A Gallbladder Surgery

My husband had gall bladder surgery two weeks ago. Gall bladder liked ibro pancreas causing pancreatitis.He is home on a reg. diet. He gets nauseated and his stomach is tender due to surgery. He spent eight days in hospital. Very sick and on a liquid diet most days. What would cause the nausea? Thank you!
