Suggest Treatment For Nausea, Hit Flashes And Fatigue
I m 43 years old for the past week been having nausea mainly morning sometime other parts of day if haven t eaten in awhile , been on a 1000-1200 calorie diet lost 23 lbs , this morning having hot flashes , tired fatigue through out the day and some headaches I m on the depo shot for about five years due to heavy bleeding before but think I ve been premediposal for a few years now
Why are you on a low calorie diet? Is it some weight loosing diet or something else? Also, your symptoms may be perimenopausal and hence you may be needed to adjust the dosage of your hormones in place of depo shot, you are taking. In some cases, you may be required to stop it completely. Also, may be required to replace the body with some estrogen etc.
Therefore in your case, you are advised to consult your doctor for proper hormonal work up if indicated and treatment accordingly. If, still the problems are not resolved, the other causes of the symptoms may be needed to be investigated for and managed accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
