The combination of Thalix and dexamethasone is a chemo treatment used for multiple myeloma in recently diagnosed patients. So it appears with this and the previous radiation treatments, he is getting the correct therapy. In the future, he might need different types of chemotherapy, depending on how he responds to the current medicine and how his disease progresses. This is something he will need to be closely watched for. The treatments may have caused a remission, but the multiple myeloma could come back. The current treatment may be keeping it suppressed for now. Until something changes, I would not try other medicines right now. Hope this helps.
