Suggest Treatment For Massive Pleural Effusions In Right Lung

Hi sir, I have massive plueral effusion on my right lung i found in x ray and ct scan, and i take treatment recently before a month,and my doctor said they took 700 ml fluid on my chest and they said still there is around 400 to 500 ml fluid in chest they cant possible drain fully.they are given a medicine for 9 months and they send the fluid for various tests and they this is came from some alergical proplem like that,and nkw i have job offer from uae so it will cause my medical fitness.my doctor said you x ray will nevar clear once its cure also but for plueral effusion without tb afected they will not put you unfit he said like that so give a suggestion sir Thanks....

Hi,

It totally depends on the cause. Cancer is one, and the effusion is messy and thick. Heart failure or liver failure are others with very clear fluid. If it shows a lot of allergic cells, then that could be from a parasitic infection that is curable.
