Hi,

The abscess is because of low immunity. Lupus is an autoimmune disease to control that autoimmunity usually immunosuppressants (e.g. steroids) will be used. Because of that, there are chances of easy infection of the skin by organisms which are normally present in our skin.

Consult a Primary physician to control the infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
