Suggest Treatment For Lump On The Penis

I have a fairly large bump on my penis And it hurts when I touch it. It hurts a lot more when I squeeze it. But when I squeeze it there would be something that looks like puss that comes out and then blood. It takes a long time to stop bleeding. What does this mean?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
It can be a sebaceous cyst or infected follicle. A sebaceous cyst would leak cheesy discharge when pressed. While infected follicle would be more like a small abscess having pus filled bump surrounded by redness. They may be situated at the base of a hair.
Lesion on your penis seems to be due to follicle abscess. It is advisable not to drain it is unhygienic way. You should maintenance local hygiene and apply antibiotic ointment like betadine. It should heal in a few days.
Hope this will be helpful.
Take care.
