Suggest Treatment For Lump In The Armpit

I have a pea sized lump under my armpit. I had an ultrasound done on it 2 years ago while having a mammogram. They said it was nothing. I hasn t changed, it moves around if I manipulate it. But lately it has begun to itch quite a bit. Should I have it checked.

Hi,

First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, it can be a simple fat lump called lipoma but the location is Alos notorious for lymph node swelling.

It's better to get its biopsy done to know that exact type and that will also help to narrow down the cause.

No medical therapy is needed just for reassurance detailed examination, biopsy and resection of needed is advisable.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
