Suggest Treatment For Low Grade Fever

I have run a low grade temp since May 25, 2016. I have been 2 convenient care twice and saw my local physician assistant. I took 5 days of predisone. 10 days of augmentant which gave me diahrea, 5 days of azithromicin. Nothing has broke this fever and I feel so lousy I am unable to work as an accountant. Any OTC medicines you would suggest. My doctor has changed towns where he is in practice and unavailable at this time.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to several causes.

For that you may require complete hemogram, urine culture, peripheral smear for malaria parasite, dengue ns1 antigen after physician consultation.

Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition.

For fever you can take tablet acetaminophen.

Keep your self hydrated. Take balanced diet.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
