Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion you should first consult pulmonologist and get done bronchoscopy and BAL (Bronchoalveolar lavage) analysis.
Left hilar region calcification is suggestive of healed, inactive, scar lesion. It is not active lesion. You might be having tuberculosis or pneumonia in the past, which is healed after treatment and shows calcified lesion in left hilum.
Since it is inactive disease, no treatment is required and it will remain as it is through out the life.
If bronchoscopy and BAL is negative than you can argue with visa authority about not having active, infectious disease and your lesion is healed and noncontiguous.
So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
Your visa problem will be solved, no need to worry.
